Obesity and Related Heart Risk

Obesity is a disease that increases the extent of the epidemic, particularly in developed countries. This disorder is defined as only having too much fat. Since our body usually consists of water, fat, protein and carbohydrates, as well as a variety of different proteins, vitamins and minerals, if we have too much fat, especially abdominal and lumbar area, we do not at greater risk for additional health problems that include high cholesterol levels, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, stroke and diabetes as well.

Obesity is recognized as a major risk factor for coronary heart disease, and this may lead to higher incidence of heart attacks. Obesity is known to lower cholesterol good, HDL, or that increases blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels as well. Obesity can lead to more diabetes also start or type 1 or type 2 diabetes, increased blood pressure of the body.
